We are mainly funded through contributions and grants. Both individual contributions and donations from organizations greatly aid the ministry as well. Non-cash donations are also helpful (e.g. volunteering, food, clothing, vehicles, etc.)

Yes. Movement 5280 is a registered 501(c)(3) charity organization. In addition, starting in 2023, the State of Colorado began offering a direct tax credit for donations to organizations that help the homeless. If you are interested in more information on this, please click below.

Movement 5280 has a diverse and independent board that provide oversight and must approve significant actions taken by the non-profit. On a regular basis, a CPA volunteers to review financial data and assist with financial reporting (statements, 990, etc.) The organization also has a Silver rating on GuideStar.

Yes, Movement 5280 hosts several fundraisers during the year, including golf tournaments, silent auctions, concerts, and more! Individuals can also purchase merchandise from our store.

We are heavily focused on youth and young adults, especially those who have aged out of foster care, but we do not turn anyone away and are happy to help anyone who comes through our doors regardless of background, economic status, religious beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, or age. Given the fact that we truly are a family for many of our clients, our age range has expanded as time has gone on as some of our clients have grown alongside us.

We have so many different types of resources. We provide basic needs such as food, showers, hygiene products, clothing, and a day shelter. We are a part of a coordinated entry system that allows us to help coordinate adding clients to the housing list. We provide addiction support services, mental health programs, and more. We also have a Job Readiness Program, life skills training, and mentorship. We have personal navigation to help coordinate and achieve goals. We help with vital documents, we are an approved site to do Housing Assessments for single adults, families, and young adults. We love to walk alongside our clients and provide a “Family of Support.” Please click below to see more of what we do.
